"Buying supermarket barolo can be a big mistake but this nebbiolo grape wonder, aged for two years in Slovenian oak casks, was one of the few gems at Morrisons’ deeply disappointing winter tasting. Araldica are a well-known and widely regarded co-operative producer in Piedmont responsible for a wide range of whites and reds, with this mature, dry, leafy, beef tea and coffee bean-styled barolo one of their best. Drink soon, preferably with mature medium-strength game." Jane MacQuitty, The Times - Read the full review

Great wine, I had it with Venison and it worked a treat. An exceptional wine for the under a tenner bracket
