An aromatic and deliciously tangy white with engaging flavours of red apples, honey and an elegant mineral undertone. This is an excellent example of Chenin Blanc from the Western Cape: fresh, characterful and brilliantly versatile.

This succulent white was made exclusively for M&S by winemakers Jaco van Niekerk and Roy Thorne at Lutzville Vineyards in South Africa's Western Cape. Both Jaco and Roy are highly regarded local winemakers with experience of making wine abroad. Working in conjunction with M&S, they selected premium grapes from low-yielding vines and made the wine carefully and without the influence of oak to craft a fresh, elegantly textured white typical of the variety.

Enjoy it chilled as a refreshing aperitif or as a wonderful match for dishes such as sweet and sour pork or pan-fried black pudding served with baked apples.
