Chablis is a wine made entirely of Chardonnay, and most Chablis, including this one, have no aging in oak barrels. To mature and soften the wine after bottling, it has been stored in La Chablisienne's cool underground chalk cellars for almost 2 year
Fruity and floral aromas with the clean, fresh flavours and lively acidity of classic Chablis. Immediately pleasing wine from a slightly lighter vintage than previous years, perfect for earlier drinking.
Chablis is a great food wine, and makes many terrific matches. It is good with many seafood dishes, particularly with lobster. It is also one of the best wines you could choose with roasted poultry, and just as good with roast pork or pork sausages. Before drinking, this wine should be chilled in the fridge for about an hour and a half. Ideal serving temperature 8-9°C.
