"Australian Shiraz does not have to be an in-your-face wine, if, as here, sufficient time is spent in cask and bottle for the grape to calm down and develop. This is elegant, structured and comparatively subtle for a Shiraz, with lots of typical black fruit, chocolate and tobacco flavours and a nice spicy underpinning from the 18 months spent in French and American oak casks. Excellent with rare roast beef" Review by Terry Kirby, The Telegraph
